Colin is enjoying school for the most part. He's back with his former classmates, though he misses the variety of school in the States, especially in the Art and Science classes. He's practicing volleyball and basketball on a regular basis, though not as much as he'd like.

He now goes to school in the afternoon which is very different for him. He actually liked getting up at 6:40 am to go to school last year. He turns 14 this month and hopes to be taller than 6'6" by the time he turns 15. Everyone here is amazed at how much he's grown. Since we've been back in Argentina, he's only found 2 people taller tan him.

Nigel has had a very interesting year so far. He was affected by the teacher's strike in our province (Colin wasn't because he's in private school). Nigel had an extra 45 days without classes, but now he's making up for it. He has extra 4 our of 5 days a week, mostly workshops in electricity, electronic repair and computers.

In some ways he's becoming much more responsible. This will be his toughest year of school because next year, he'll have only half as many classes. In the interim, Jackie and I are trying to keep with his schedule, making sure he's fed, clothed and in the right place at the right time. He's enjoying the youth group at church which is a blessing.

Chelsea is helping out in many ways. She continues to take college classes via internet; though getting her books on time is going to be a challenge. At present, she's taking a creative writing class and her teacher suggested she submit her projects to the local paper. Of course, her teacher doesn't realize the local paper here is in Spanish.

Chelsea is enjoying her cats and tolerating the dogs. She's going to be helping me with several writing projects and is about to finish a Power Point slide show presentation which will show some of the work which needs to be done here in Cerrillos. We're sending the program to some churches that are planning on sending short term teams to help us.

Jackie is enjoying being able to work outside again. She's able to get her exercise and fresh air almost every day. Her only real complaint is that Nigel is going to school in the morning and Colin in the afternoon, plus Chelsea home all day, she seldom has time to herself without someone else in the house.

She was thrilled to be reunited with Ginger, her Siberian Husky. Because Ginger has developed a taste for our neighbor's chickens while we were gone, she is staying tied up until we can retrain her. To help with the job, we picked up a new Siberian Husky puppy last week. He's now 8 weeks old and is named Taz. If you've seen the Tasmanian devil in the Warner Brothers cartoons, you have an idea what this puppy can do to shoes, pillows, etc.

I'm staying busy trying to get caught up on all that has happened while we were gone. The problem with having too many jobs is that there are gaps which don't get covered when your gone. We arrived back in Salta only to find that one key ladies in a brand new church had died just a week before. She had been asking to see me because she had uterine cancer and the doctors she could afford ignored it. It was hard to face the members of that church who really miss her, knowing that with proper treatment, there was good chance her life could have been saved.

On the positive side, we spent yesterday with that church as they celebrated their 2nd anniversary. They are now up to 50 people attending, most of whom are new Believers. I preached a short message about baptism before they baptized 2 new Christians and after the message, It was great to see 3 different church members sharing Christ with their neighbors who arrived to see what they were celebrating.
