Help For Someone In Need King or Queen size mattresses (twin mattresses for our friends boys are okay) Bed linens Bath towels Dishes and flatware Nice, clean, used kitchen accessories and utencils Used, nice furniture, including a sofa Clothes (He didn’t note specific sizes) Used computer, monitor and printer Used videos for children Used video games Used toys Christian children’s books and games We do not want to give broken items or things that could be labeled as trash. Instead, please look through your used and unwanted items to see if there is anything nice that you could give to our friend and his family to help them get established in their new place. He mentioned that he will be a regular attender at Powellhurst. Please notify the church office of what you have and then we will connect you with our friend. He may need help in transporting your items to his apartment. Powellhurst's Food Pantry Needs Since grocery bags filled from our church pantry are often given out to needy individuals and families, we need to replenish our pantry with the following items: Canned Corn Canned Green Beans Canned Tuna Fish Small jars of Peanut Butter Small jars of Jam/Jelly Canned Fruit: Peaches, Pears, Applesauce Canned Soup Granola Bars Pork and Beans Chili Rice-A-Roni boxes Top Ramen Noodles Macaroni and Cheese boxes Jars of Spaghetti Sauce Crackers Boxed Cereals Thank you for your generous donations for this community outreach ministry and for those who are needy within our church.
