Worship is the adoring response of a person's heart and mind to the greatness of God. This is both a private daily experience as well as a corporate celebration of joy, reverence and obedience (Psalm 95). Because worship is a response to God's greatness, it is necessary for the worshipper to know and experience our great God. It is impossible for a person who has not experienced Him to step into a service on Sunday morning and worship, no matter what style of worship is offered.

Real worship takes place all week long as people meet with God through Scripture and daily life and respond by submitting every area of their lives to His authority and care (Romans 12:1-2).

At Powellhurst, we desire to expose people to God's greatness through His Word and through our lives, so that those who join us will be lead to respond from their hearts in worship. We feature a blended service of traditional and contemporary music lead by a variety of worship service teams.

This 13-week course will focus on how to better share Christ with others and then defend the faith, and then actually do it. Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

"HomeBuilders":
Do you have a hunger to be more like Christ? Join us as we look at Christ’s words to His people during the final hours of His earthly ministry (John 13-17). For couples in their 20's and early 30's with young children. Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
